The Lincolnshire Wolds is a range of hills in the county of Lincolnshire. It is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the highest area of land in eastern England between Yorkshire and Kent. There are many beautiful villages and market towns dotted throughout this stunning landscape.

Nearby Cleethorpes is just a 5 minute drive away and boasts a beautiful promenade to walk along the beach. Cleethorpes beach is one of Lincolnshires hidden gems. Clean, beautiful skies, gentle tides in the summer, it's a great place for photography lovers or anyone who enjoys a walk in the crisp sea air.

The Smallest Pub In the World

The Signal Box Inn is named after its location at the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway. The size of the building is approximately to the same scale as the trains that use the track. It has five hand pumps serving real ale and a beer garden and was submitted for a place in the Guinness Book of Records.

The quiet country lanes that criss-cross the rolling hills of the Wolds are a cyclist's dream; leading to wonderful views, wildlife, historic places and pretty villages. There are many routes and challenges mapped out on Strava, if you like a challenge, and some scenic little villages for the slower-paced.



The Boating Lake

The Boating Lake

The Boating Lake is at the southern end of Cleethorpes next to Cleethorpes Local Nature Reserve. There are two main lakes with a connecting channel. The lakes are surrounded by amenity grass, ideal for picnics. The north lake is open for fishing and is used by a model boat association. Set in the middle of this lake is an illuminated fountain. At the northern most tip of the lake is an open air paddling pool.
